Congratulations to Liam Townsend September Player of the Month
Liam Townsend becomes the IOMSRA POM for September with a points increase of 59.8%. Liam is a product of the junior development system here on the island but has improved his squash whilst studying at Lancaster University. He has had a fine start to the season winning the Plate Event in the Manx Telecom Dave Karran Tournament and performing well in his three matches for the Island Tyres & Exhausts team prior to returning to University.
Phil Butler is placed second with an increase in his playing level of 42.1%. Phil is relatively new to squash but he is very keen and with hard work coupled with his natural ability he should continue to improve and progress up the rankings. He is a new player for the Falcons team in the C league.
The third placed player is Racketeer Andrew Brown, he is only 0.1% behind Phil in his playing level increase. Andrew has played 9 ranking matches in September and the results from 7 of these have brought about a significant increase in his playing level.

3 Andrew Brown – points moved from 648 to 920 = 42%
