Dear members,
as the new season approaches, we have spent the summer off season months researching into new options to manage memberships, leagues and tournaments and at the best value for our members.
Following a successful trial period, we have teamed up with SportyHQ for the upcoming season in the hope of bringing a smoother and more integrated experience to our members. There are bound to be a few kinks here and there as we move over to the new system, but do ask for your patience and please reach out to admin@iomsra.com for any assistance you require.
All players will be required to set up an account through SportyHQ and affiliate themselves to the Isle of Man Squash Club and Isle of Man Squash Rackets Association where you will be able to purchase your membership.
Due to the integrated nature of the system, to become an active player in the system and be assigned to your team for the new season, your membership sign up will need to be complete ahead of next week’s first fixtures so please action this as soon as possible.
Sign up is simple:
- Go to sportyhq.com and create an account/login – please ensure your name matches Squashlevels so it connects through properly.
- In the search bar – search Isle of Man Squash Club and from the club page click “register as a player at this club”.
- In the search bar – search Isle of Man Squash Rackets Association and from the association page click Join Today in the membership section on the right.
- Captains, once you have signed up please contact admin@iomsra.com to request we add you to your team page where you can then manage your team including adding other players (once they have signed up).
Some cool new features:
- Teams captains could choose to utilise the system in the team page view where each player can indicate there availability for each game.
- The new live scoring app! We would ask each team captain to submit there team for each match by lunchtime of the day of the match so this feature can be used. Through the app, you can select a match and mark the game live on your mobile device (internet connection required) which is then automatically submitted to the system. Links to the app through the AppStore or GooglePlay.
